About Us

Where Nature Meets Sustainable Luxury

About Us

More than a camp. A purpose. A legacy. A voice from the jungle

WHO WE ARE

WAO KAMP was born from a deep love and respect
for the Amazon, and from the desire to protect one of the most
sacred places on Earth: Yasuní.

We created WAO KAMP as a space to connect with the land,
with the people, and with the immense biodiversity that surrounds us.

WAO KAMP

A SHELTER IN THE AMAZON

Here, among giant trees and the Shiripuno river, full of life, lives the Waorani culture. They’re the guardians of the forest, of traditions, and of ancestral knowledge passed down through generations.

WAO KAMP reminds us that:

We honor the Waorani culture

Nature is powerful

The value of life and biodiversity
