Join us in planting the future, one tree at a time.
A reforestation project in Yasuni with Waorani communities.
We plant native trees to restore the forest, protect biodiversity,
and preserve ancestral culture.
TREE OF LIFE
With This project we aim to preserve the Yasuni and its inhabitants.
This project is a reforestation project within the Yasuni. We look up affected zones to reintroduce native plants.
We also count on the help of the Waorani communities who ensure the protection of the forest.
All visitors have the opportunity to visit the community and learn about the rich culture and traditions of the local people. There will be a short walking tour to learn about the local farming and special plants utilized here. Following is when we arrive at the community reserve to plant a tree provided by the locals.
Protect Yasuní, Protect Life

Protect Yasuní, Protect Life

Why Protecting Yasuní Matters
Every plant, every tree, every living creature plays a vital role in the balance of life. This rainforest breathes for the planet, regulates the climate, and shelters thousands of unique species.
But this precious ecosystem is fragile — and it needs guardians.
At WAO KAMP, we work hand in hand with the Waorani community, protectors of this land for generations. Together, we focus on preserving native flora, which is the foundation of life in Yasuní. When the forest thrives, so does every part of its web — from insects and birds to clean water and breathable air.

Nature knows how to heal — we’re just here to help it do so.
Support the protection of Yasuní.
Because preserving the forest means protecting our shared future.
